At exactly 8:10 in the morning our bus departed. in that time together with my classmate were very happy and excited for the tour and of course i'am slightly nervous because it is our first ever educational tour.

Our section is in charge to go first to Elsie Gaches Village located at the center of the highly urbanized place in alabang, muntinlupa. We are supervised with our beloved IPSA adviser Dr. Nepomuceno Perez together with our kind guidance councelor Mrs. Perlita Perez.
Upon arriving inside the village one of the client seems to have an down syndrome go inside our bus and have some fun seating in the chairs of the bus but suddenly the driver forced him to get him out of the bus in a calm and kind way.

One of the personnel of the Elsie Gaches Village orient us all about the Elsie Gaches Village. the history, the clients that they handle ling, the different sections of the institutions and the personnel who is charge in the different work inside the institution.
The Elsie Gaches Village is under the Supervision of the department of social welfare and development in nation capital region with 16-hectare site, which was donated by philanthropists Samuel and Elsie McCloskey Gaches. with a 600 + clients.

The psychologist of elsie gaches village is the one who in charge to help us to explore the place. we able to see the different cottages, and different sections inside the village and it took us hours to able to finish the tour and i felt exhausted but it is fulfilling for me. because i able to see the separation of the mentally challenge person in the village and of course the different kinds of the mentally challenged clients that they handling.

after a long journey to the elsie gaches village we went to the festival mall to have an lunch. Our adviser Dr. perez told us to have some fun for almost 1:30 hour.
Our next destination is at Sanctuary Center in welfare compound, Mandaluyong City. upon arriving, I felt excited because we are able to meet again our clients. like in last institution before entering the place we are able to have an orientation all about the sanctuary center. looking in the place Sanctuary center seems like an old building, our section conduct an small program for the client and as well as the clients they welcomed us with a big smiles in there face and they prepare an production number and we were touched. we are able to have an one on one conversation to our clients and my client is ate adelea she said she is 45 years old and stayed almost 25 years in the sanctuary.
My experiences in this tour is the most unforgettable moment in my life because I've learned many things that makes me understand person who suffering a mental illness. and of course i learned many educational thing related in my course :)
